At the end of each summer you will find us in the Creative Living Building at the Oregon State Fair. Just follow the sound of the weavers throwing the shuttle! Demonstrations are provided by spinners, knitters, lacemakers and many others.

Come and see us at the state fair and enjoy being a part of Oregon History . The first fair was at Oregon City in 1861 as a harvest festival for farmers. The Salem fairgrounds have several historical buildings that alone are worth a visit!
Enter Your Project
There are many skill levels available in weaving, dyeing, spinning, felting & needlework.. Plan and complete your project at any time during the year. Online registration typically opens in early June. Register online at: https://oregon.fairwire.com/
Demonstrate
Sign up to demonstrate your skills at the fair. You will receive free admission and parking on the day you demonstrate. Scheduling usually begins in June.
Salem Fiberarts Guild and the Oregon State Fair have a dynamic relationship. Beginning in 2023, SFG became an official monetary partner and provides volunteer support for the Fiber Arts Division:
