Mission Statement

SFG is dedicated to the support, promotion, and celebration of fiber arts in the Salem area and beyond.  To achieve our objectives, we:

• Foster active participation in the fiber arts by offering classes and workshops and opportunities for gathering and sharing among local weavers and other fiber artisans.

• Support and promote fiber arts through demonstrations at the Willamette Heritage Center, Oregon State Fair and other community venues. 

• Support the fiber arts through participation with and financial support of state, regional, and national organizations.
